InduSoft makes it possible for embedded HMI computers to have web access.

AUSTIN, TEXAS - August 21, 2000 - InduSoft's SCADA, HMI, monitoring and control software is compatible with Microsoft's latest release of the Windows CE operating system, version 3.0. Because InduSoft's latest WEB Studio software is XML-enabled, CE-based embedded computers can now be accessed over the Internet. This means that users with handheld, laptop or desktop devices can monitor and control applications directly, using standard Web browsers. The InduSoft suite of products includes Studio and WEB Studio PC-based development systems, both of which allow an end user at a desktop PC or server to configure an HMI, SCADA, process control, automation or data acquisition application, and then download the application to a wide range of desktop, industrial, embedded, laptop, handheld or palm computers and thin clients running Windows NT, 2000 or CE.
