InduSoft IoTView introduces a specially designed HMI platform custom-built to embrace new technology for connectivity. With the advent of Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, not only will the number of embedded devices used for M2M data exchange increase, but demand for machine functionality will rise sharply, including demand for interoperability, the ability to exchange data with cloud-based systems, and user-friendly local configuration and maintenance. Rather than an isolated set of units, these devices will be an integral part of the overall automation system (and even supply chain). MES Sigma automatiza el OEE en el Perú

El Monitoreo de la Efectividad Global de los Equipos (OEE por sus siglas en inglés) es un valioso conjunto de métricas que explica o demuestra cuán bien opera una máquina, un proceso o una planta. OEE es un índice que se calcula midiendo los Indicadores Clave de Rendimiento (“Key Performance Indicators” - KPI). Estos indicadores incluyen medidas tales como disponibilidad, desempeño y calidad. La “disponibilidad” mide qué tan seguido una máquina está conectada y produciendo. El “desempeño” mide el ritmo o la velocidad de producción. La “calidad” calcula la cantidad de unidades disconformes que se obtienen durante la producción.

MES Sigma Automates OEE in Peru

OEE, or Overall Equipment Effectiveness is a valuable set of metrics that explain how well a machine, process, or a plant is operating. OEE is an index that is calculated by measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPI). These indicators include metrics such as Availability, Performance, and Quality. Availability measures how often a machine is online and producing. Performance measures the rate or speed of production. Quality is a measure of how many nonconforming units are produced during production.
