Here (in the footer) is where you see the number of tags used by the application. The article describes how the tags used in the application are added up to get this number.

The distributor in my country tell me that if i use a float tag it will be counted as a 32 tags. I will have a system with 4 PLC (unitronics using modbus tcp). each PLC have:
    Digital input: 64
    Digital output: 16
    Holding register (float type): 8

The distributor in colombia tell me that the system will have 336 tags (64 + 16 + 8+32) per PLC. I have 4 PLC = 1344 tags, they recommended that i should buy a 4000 tgas system.

Based in the document how tags are count, the system will have 352 tags ( 4*(64+16+8)), will it?.

    Best regards

    Hello @Apis,

The document is correct unless you have told your distributor something different than what you have described here. Float types are mapped to Real Tags. Additionally, you have only discussed the tags going to the PLC. Aren't you going to use some tags in the application as well? Additionally, if you have any arrayed tags such as:

    $TestTag[10]

it will use 11 total tags: 0 through 10.
