InduSoft has added another educational partner to its list of partners using InduSoft Web Studio for HMI and SCADA applications in an educational setting. Pennsylvania College of Technology has started to use InduSoft Web Studio to engage future engineers and give them the skills needed to compete in the current workforce.
According to William Mack, Dean of the School of Industrial & Engineering Technologies, “Pennsylvania College of Technology takes pride in preparing tomorrow’s workforce through relevant, hands-on experience using cutting-edge technology. InduSoft SCADA software will assist the Penn College faculty in preparing students to earn “degrees that work” for the future of industry. The SCADA software will be used by Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology majors enrolled in EET258, Advanced Automation Control Concepts and Applications. In this class, students master a variety of advanced PID and SCADA topics through hands-on experience, preparing them for success in workplace.”
