InduSoft Web Studio Symbol of the Week: Binary Displays

These binary displays can be used to display Integer tags in binary. They can be used for troubleshooting, to display PLC bits, or to understand how to use tag properties within symbols. For example the syntax #TagName:AnalogValue_->B0 is used to show bit 0.

Range: -2147483648 to 2147483647

Properties: TagName, Label

Notes:

  1. This symbol contains only native IWS objects.
  2. If you need minor modifications, let us know.

Here’s how to use this symbol:
Unzip and copy the .sym files into your Symbol folder of where InduSoft Web Studio is installed. This is usually “C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware InduSoft Web Studio v8.0\Symbol” or similar. Either create a new folder or copy it into an existing one, such as “Indicators”.
